The Missouri Humane Society is a animal shelter in St. Louis in Missouri. And the organization basically shelters abused and neglected stray animals. As they provide animals with proper food, care and meditation. Thus giving them a new life.

Recently something very unusual happened at the Humane Society. Early in the morning a person dropped something that looked like a ball of fur in the shelter home. And initially everyone at the society was terrified on what it actually is. As taking a closer look they found the ball of fur moving.

And it make them wonder that if it was san unusual animal. But the mystery solved after sometimes.

What was The Mystery Animal?

So after struggling to find out what lied behind the fur ball the member eventually discovered that it was a dog. And the fur had covered him completely. As it was in a terrible condition.

The fleas had completely covered its fur. And the dog had lost its walking ability. Therefore the staff of the humane society  first shaved off the fur from the dog’s body. They groomed her properly and then took it for medical examination. After getting its X-rays done they discovered its paws were not functioning anymore.

Moreover the report also stated that there were many broken bones in the dog’s body. But the members of the Humane Society have stated that they will the its proper treatment done. Apart from that they have also given her a sweet name and that is ‘precious.’

Will Precious Be Able To Walk?

Well as the doctors have stated that its paws have been deformed since several years. And they speculated that it might have been a victim to multiple accidents. And never received proper treatment.

So there are less chances that Precious will actually get its walking ability back. But the member of the Humane Society are adamant they they won’t give up hope. Therefore there are chances that they might opt to get prosthetic paws for the little dog. We really appreciate Humane Society’s contribution in giving these animals proper care they deserve.

Apart from that we also expect everyone around us to be kind to all the living beings around us. Everyday we get to see hundreds of stray animals becoming prey to abuse, violence and starvation. Therefore we should always be sensible towards them.

And on seeing any animal in distress, it is not right from our part to walk away. Because every living being deserves love and care. We really hope that precious gets proper treatment. And we are confident that Humane Society of Missouri will succeed in healing the little bundle of joy and give it all the love and care it deserves.
